Hi Folks, I have a heavily upgraded PowerBook G3 Pismo and was hoping to use this as a server once I buy myself a new Mac mini :) The Pismo has a PowerLogix BlueChip G3 900MHz, 1Gb RAM and an AirPort Extreme card, the hard disk is the original 30Gb one. I was going to install MacOS X 10.3

To accomplish Pismo function with lid closed: 1: attach USB mouse 2: close lid - Pismo sleeps 3: click/move USB mouse 4: Pismo wakes then runs without lid open (watch your energy settings for AC power) Things to consider: 1: you should dim the display entirely in case backlighting turns on 2:
