i just upgraded from wallstreet to pismo, and am very pleased except that my
printer is localtalk only. i bought a farallon ethermac multiprinter adapter
but it came with no info. i had hoped just plugging everything in would do
it, but no such luck. anyone out there know the trick?

I have a Dayna localtalk-ethernet adapter. I use it with a similar
configuration. The trick with mine is that the adapter has to be on
before the printer, and the printer has to be on before you look for it
from the computer.
I leave the adapter on all the time and just turn the printer on
