The iBook will take any drive that's 9.5mm height (or less). Installation
is a bear, but the upgrade is definitely rewarding, especially for those who
started out with the original 3.2gig HDD that came in the early iBooks.

I purchased an iBook for a sweet deal. Besides the RAM [did that

What peripherals for backup are suggested? I needed something for
copying small files. Then I'll transfer those files to a CD-R later. I
