All G3 iBooks are now covered by the repair extension program, which means Apple is
being forthright in saying that eventually, all G3 iBooks are likely to have the
issues covered by the program. That's commendable for Apple, but not for the G3

I have a 900mHz G3 iBook and I love it. I was my "daily driver" until I
got a great deal on a 1gHz TiBook. For most tasks, it's about 80-90% as
fast as the TiBook and is much more portable. If I didn't have to use
Virtual PC so much, I'd still be using the iBook every day. That's the

OK, I am looking for opinions on these iBooks. My girlfriend has been having fits
with the screen on her 12" 800Mhz model, Applecare has had it 6 or so times. The
reason I ask, is I am getting rid of my iMac 15" 800 (superdrive) and wanted a Tibook,
