Regarding installing AppleWorks 6 on OSX: You can't just take the OS9 AppleWorks 6 installer and install it on 10. If you have AppleWorks 6 installed on OS9 this is what you do to get it to run in OSX: Simply drag folder from OS9 to your OSX applications folder and open it. I use AppleWorks 6 on my

In the past I've had no problem making a bootable backup via firewire with Carbon Copy Cloner. Now that I'm using a USB connected external HD, it doesn't show up when I go to Startup Disk in System Preferences. Is there no way I can boot into a USB external drive? George Mac OS X 10.5.5 Ma

Okay everybody, I just ran my little tests and confirmed that you're all correct (Dan, Bruce, Fabian, Ken, Clark) about AW 6 booting natively in OS X without Classic. Wow, I had no idea, but AW 6 stayed on when I shut down Classic, and booted back up from "scratch" when I double clicked it in
