I'd get the G4/400. I have a G4/400 Sawtooth (AGP Graphics) and it runs OSX 10.4.9 fine. I've also been able to upgrade it with a better ATI Radeon 8500 Mac Edition video card (see http://www.barefeats.com/sawgraf.html) so it is Quartz Extreme compatible. Also the fact that it has PCI slots
