When you select your 40Gb drive on the desktop and then select Get
Info does it show up as a 40Gb drive?
If not then what is the model number as read from the sticker on the
drive.

Curiosity killed the cat. Couldn't wait til morning. I did exactly
as you said. When I opened iCal, all my events were there with the
same time problem. Did a restart with no different results. It's
twilight zone and gremlins combined.

Just kinda lookin round and seeing i cud pick a sp1.8 g5 up pretty darn
