functioned as my boot drive for my eMac,) refused to power on. I took the unit
to MacHQ (a nearby Mac Repair Business) and they pulled the Samsung drive out
of the Verbatim enclosure and installed it into a Macally enclosure.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't mean for my email to come across as
"calling you out or anything", it was just really hopeful thinking that
someone had this working, and might be willing to share the install
instructions.
I really haven't tried anything exotic to make this work.
I guess Apple wants all us before Tiger gone??? And I'm sure Tiger will be
gone too pretty soon??? It really sucks, I am not crazy about these Intel Macs
at all...

Kudos to them for supporting a product they no longer market!
The suggestion was to disconnect the Master Array while trying to
install Tiger to the Slave array which is kind of kludgy, but what the
heck. I'll give it a try. At this point
