stats: G4 iMac (goose neck one); 10.4.xx; I have an Administrator account I gave my old iMac to a teenage boy. I kept myself as Administrator and made his account Administrator, too. He just gave the computer to his sister. I need to delete his account, but he doesn't remember his password. I

Update (solution) to HD boot problem

We have successfully re-united my eMac 125 with its external HD and Leopard OS. After many emails to the manufacturers, and several purchases and returns, it turns out that even when the box and literature say the drive enclosure will go back to 10.2 and that the case claims to sport Firewire 4

New owner of a Late 2005 Dual Core 2.3GHz Power Mac G5

Mint condition, 8GB RAM, for $240. It had a fresh install of Tiger on a 250GB drive. I put in a WD Raptor 75GB 10,000 RPM drive, and installed Leopard on it, and wiped the 250. It's pretty sweet. Definitely faster than my MDD FW800 Dual 1.25Ghz G4, and slower than my Early 2008 Dual Quad 2.
