If you want to save power then a G5 really isn't going to do it, you'd
have to go to intel. A Mac Mini or MacBook don't draw a lot of power.
You didn't say but I'm guessing you want to be able to use some older
apps. You're not likely worried about PPC OSX apps as they'll work up
to 10.6. More
