Memory slot location

The Apple specifications claim that the machine can only use 1Gb, 512Mb in each memory slot. Will this Mac really be able to address 2Gb, 1Gb in each slot? I want to install the maximum memory that the machine can use, but I don't want to waste money. Thanks Leo > > The slot on the motherboard

The information at EveryMac says that although Apple officially states a max of 1GB, unofficially it should be able to do 2GB: http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/imac/stats/imac_1.25_17_fp.html - Tony On Tue, Sep 30, 2008 at 10:05 AM, hillhippy <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > The Apple speci
