1. I’d say go for Tiger or newer. Lots of software require Tiger or newer, and Tiger is faster than Jaguar or Panther. 2. Leopard or Tiger? Speed depends on which programs you use and is subjective anyway, so it’s hard to say if you’d be satisfied with Leopard’s speed. This may not be legal, but
