Hello! I've downloaded the most recent g4u and it works great on most
of these Dell Optiplex 760 systems, same as the alpha 4 version did.
On one of the systems, I'm having a weird experience. When running
inside the g4u session, there is constant green colored output back to
the screen surroundin
Just wanted to report a success with g4u alpha 4 on these Dell
Optiplex systems. Last semester, I reported here that g4u did not
work because the ethernet card was not found by alpha 3, but now it
is! It appears as device "wm0".

I am having some trouble with these new Dell systems. The CPU is, as
far as I can tell, a Pentium M Dothan "E8400 wolfdale". G4u 2.3 and
2.2 can't recognize it, the startup ends in a panic.
I gather from the archive of this list that this is a known issue. So
I am now trying G4u 2.4 alpha 3, wh
