still receive mail from this list to my home address, but posts I send to
the list from my home address doesn't go through.
NO need for everyone to reply. If thomas or raul or any other one person can

Hi,
I use jaws 7.1 also and am using version 3.9 of the adrift runner. In order
to do so I have to set jaws on say all with the insert + s key until it
states "all" and then the runner works just fine. If I miss something I have
to use the jaws cursor for a moment.

Yeah, it kind of is, if you use the jaws curser to read the text, but it
doesn't read the text automatically, like it did in previous versions. I'm
using the newest one. 4.0. Unless it's my version of jaws? I'm running jaws
7.10.

Why not set a speak window around the text area? This is what I did with
Window-Eyes and it works.

The thing is, the issues that have already been written should be left
alone. When a new issue comes out it will have the new information and
so will following issues after. This is like a book when it is released,
there are revisions to it. The originals are left there for historical
purposes.
it doesn't make sence to try an adjust back issues of anything for any reason.
As for the web site, all you can do is put a notice to display on each site

My view is to just update the new issue and leave the old issues alone since
they are already out there and you do not know how many places they have
gone off to.

Hello everyone
I'm writing this to ask for opinions and update you all, in brief, about
the magazine subscription only list.
As you all know we have successfully made the move from the old gaming
list hosted by Yahoo to the current server. This is a good step forward for
the community as a
How can I make adrift accessible with jaws? Are there scripts for it?
Thanks.

Greetings
I was just wondering if either express editions of C# or VB# would be okay
for a non-programmer such as myself. For playing around with and what sort
of learning curve, in time and such would I be looking at?
I'm actually quite interested in learning how to program.

Hi Jim,
Yes, I am completely certain of it. As I mentioned in previous posts
many many things changed when Microsoft released VB 7 which was VB.NET
2002. VB.NET 2003 and VB.NET 2005 improved upon the 2002 version with
2005 being apart of the .NET Framework 2.0 current framework.
There are some f
Hi Liam,
No change isn't always bad, and in this case I feel it was about to
happen sooner or later. As I understand it from what I have heard from
Microsoft on the subject was that many VB programmers in the field
bombarded MS with requests to update the language and include more
features pres

Hi Jim,
Yeah, if you have the system requirements I think that is a good idea.
Just a note to everyone VB.NET 2005 requires Windos XP SP2 to run.
If you are on Bookshare I believe they may have one or two books on
VB.NET programming. Also safari.oreilly.com is another good place to
scope out boo
Hi Liam,
I hear you there. I also have the problem with the error Window as well.
It is not just related to VB.NET but all the IDEs have that particular
problem with screen readers.I find it down right frustrating to say the
least!
The visual IDES have always done error checking, but in 2005 the

Hi Liam,
Thanks. Maybe I should try down loading Visual Basic 2005 Express and take a
look at it.

I was surprised to find out you could program in vb6 like you would in an
older form of basic, but the whole system is much much different now.
Change isn't always bad. I'm really enjoying this new version quite a lot.
Hi Thomas,
Are you sure that one can not program in Visual Basic 2003, 2004, 2005 etc the
same way as one does in Visual Basic 6? I mean I have always been told that
one can not program in Visual Basic 6 as one did in GW Basic, Quick Basic etc,
but it sure works for me.
