I think I have it and will post on sendspace tomorrow.
However, I wasn't impressed with it as I couldn't hear any kind of footstep
sound to let me know that I was moving.

A footstep sound would've taken away from the classic feel of the game. The
cliff sound is understandable but even then I think they used an actual game
sound to signify a cliff. And they have blocks to break, if they had coins
and a much better umping system, and good music I'd love the game.

Hello. This is Ron. I installed the rail racer demo, when I go to run the
program, I get an error message something about the application isn't running
or something, click ok to terminate the application. Was wondering what that
is and how I can fix that?

hi ron, here's an old posting that should give u the answer.
Hi all.
This applies to all games using directx 9c latest version, maybe
earlier and the dotnet framework 2.0 and 1.1.
Today microsoft released new security updates to dotnet 1.1 sp1 and
dotnet 2.0sp2.
After installing these
Hi Alex,
Keep in mind prier to 1.0's release I had hardware/software issues
which resulted in the total loss of the STFC 1.0 source code. So what
everyone agreed to do at the time is to release the latest beta as 1.0,
and rewrite the game scratch for 2.0 to resolve any remaining bugs in 1.0.
Hello again. Where do I download the direct x nine so rail racer will work

Hi all,
This is a reminder to please keep one liner messages to a minimum on the

This list is very high traffic, and the one liner messages really don't

Speaking of v1.2, how come the manual doesn't say any ting about the options

Hi,

Hi Josh,
Yes, STFC 2.0 will still be primarily menu driven. There are however
many changes under the hood that 1.0 and 1.2 didn't have.
1. Sapi 5.0 support.
2. Ability to save up to 10 games.
3. Based on Star Trek Next Generation.
5. Ability to detect cloaked enemy ships in certain cases.
6.
Hi Trenton,
I knew I forgot to add something in 1.2. (Grin)
I agree using hot keys rather than menus makes the game move faster, and
is allot nicer. Thjis is actually a hold over from one of the early
betas where the game was originally designed without menus.
New players wanted menus like Trek
Hi Trenton,
Yes, I could on both accounts, but I need to clarify something about the
warp sound. the warp sound STFC 1.x is using is the TNG sound for the
Galaxy and Nebula class ships. DS9 and Voyager warp sounds are
different. If the game were staying in the DS9 era I would certainly up
sounds nice. It'll be fun to play when it comes out, but in the meantime I
still really enjoy stfc 1.2.
But if I may make a suggestion, it seems like scansoft Karen really doesn't
fit with the game. I prefer an american voice. Also, it would add to the fun
of the game if you could add an effect
Hi Shaun,
Correct. It is from the TNG era, and it is still used on many of the
ships of the DS9era. Voyager has a different warp sound, but keep in
mind in the epasode Care Taker Janeway had explained that the Voyager
was the fastest ship in the fleet doing warp 9.975, and has that new
style
Hi Kelly.
As Liam said being either at recall in the newbie part of the game or a way
point this is another location in the game where you can type pray here andn
then recall to that location by typing way and the number.
I play alter aeon and get plenty of enjoyment out of it. You can level in
