I had the same problem that the game wouldn't even open on a Windows7

me out of the bat program after the necessary files copied. Afterwards?
all great!
Hi alex.
that is handy to know. Would it help jaws users if I put links to hotspot
clicker on the smugglers 4 page on audiogames.ent (and the smugglers 5 page
when it has one).
Beware the grue!

Hi,
I haven't played the beta myself, but I do have a suggestion that I

I found that the hotspot clicker jaws scripts worked very well with 4.

HI,
Let's see.
the batch file says to copy all 3 files to the syswow64 folder. did you do
that?
then it makes sure you are in that folder to register the files. did you
make sure the syntax is correct?
After each one, did you hear the system say the file has been registered
properly?

As I said Jacob, they aren't! standard controls, they're just hotspots in

For instance when it says "click here to select the mighty federation"

"screen reader compatibility" means labled text and buttons, not auto

You'll need your screen readers' virtual curser for it, though if you
not tried the smugglers series I'd probably recommend starting with 4
because the compatibility in 5 is still a work in progress it seems.
Ok, but, if even the jaws/mouse cursor doesn't seem to recognise control

group box, how does that implement screen reader compatibility...?
Just asking, and will try it out a bit more, but anyway.

Hi Darren.
I've mailed Niels and he says he'll have a look at the combat icons.
I hope it's fixable, sinse it's a little irritating at the moment
particularly sinse combat looks more complex, for those who've played

Will the game end though when you hit a certain age? Last time certainly in

I'm not sure Darren.
I remember a similar problem with one of the early s4 betas, but for some
reason I can't find any of the extra special ability buttons such as taunt
or use ship's, I just get repeating text. I wonder if there is a problem
