There's still a thriving Entombed community, and Jason, the developer,
has hinted at a sequel coming some time in the future, but as far as I
can tell, there will be no more work done on Entombed.
Again, there is still a thriving community aroud the game, so playing
it is far from a waste of time.
I still play it but I don't think there's been an update in a couple of
years.
