Hi Christina,
Yep, July may have been the slowest month ever for the Audyssey list. But hey, with
about 1 message a day I tied for second place. grin

I thought that when the 1st came, I was going to be down towards the bottom
of the list, but to be tied in 2nd with you well, I'm totally shocked.
Thanks again for the reports.

Hi Shaun,
Ahem...Your prices for BGT are way off. Last time I checked it was
$29.95 for BGT Lite, $99.95 for BGT Pro Single, and $399.95 for BGT
Pro Unlimited. I don't know where you got the idea BGT costs $600, but
once again you are blowing smoke out your backside. For the love of
all that is
The bgt manual does imply that the pro unlimited version costs $700 or so.

Hi John,
Well, then the manual is out of date. If you look on the Blastbay
order page it says BGT Pro Unlimited is $399.95 USD, and I just
checked to make sure it was accurate. I'd recommend to Phillip to
update the manual and fix the pricing in the guide.

Hmmm, sounddogs wants me to create an account before it'll allow me to get
any audio. I'll keep it in mind though.

Hi John,
While not free, check out the iTunes store. they have several sound effect
collections available there.
The Hollywood Edge sounds are very good. I don't believe all of their
collections are available on iTunes but many are. YOu can also visit the
Hollywood Edge site directly as well.
Please be aware that just because these sounds may be free, you still do need
to read the license agreements, as you may need to credit the creators of each
sound differently. I.E. some may ask for a link, some may ask for simple credit
etc. This is important.

Hi Jim,
Yes, this is the basic idea.
When creating an adjustable loop without hard-coding the timing as you are
doing below, you would simply calculate the time your loop has taken to process
all of its instructions for a particular frame and then sleep for an
appropriate time until your next
Hi Ryan, yes, essentially this is true. However, see my earlier post to Jim.
YOu'd really want to keep your loop dynamic. So the time between each iteration
is really a living, changing thing. :)

shorter depending on how
