Oh, that would be fantastic. With a tiny bit of tinkering, various versions of
Python will work on Mac in Terminal for some games, like SoundRTS. Anyway, I've
heard about Jim's games, and appreciate his sense of humor. I'd love to play
them.

Hi, in the storm 8 games how is it best to start off the building. Is it best
to start with the best building you can afford with the money you have or is it
best to build a few of the smaller buildings to get as many buildings as
possible.
thanks very much.

Hi James,
Yeah, I knew that Drug Mule was about 30 years old. I believe he wrote
it before he went blind with graphics and stuff, and then later
rewrote it as an accessible Dos game.
Cheers!

Hi James,
As I have been a full time Linux user for quite some time I not only
think it is a good idea I know it to be. Far too many developers write
games exclusively for Windows, and either we use Wine, install a
Windows virtual machine, or do without which are all pretty

Hello again Thomas,
I think that would be a great idea. As a Windows user that is making the

only benefit from it.

Hello Thomas,
Thank you for getting back to me. Yes I know all that, I was emailing
Jim this morning. I hope that things can get figgered out soon, I miss
hearing from him on here, and his monthly reports. Did you know that this
game (Drug Mule) has been a game of Jim's for 30 years now. I
Hi James,
Sure, you can email Jim Kitchen if you want. However, it is not
specifically his email that is the problem. Its something to do with
the Audyssey mailing list that is screwing up, and not letting him
post to the list for some reason. We have not been able to determine
as to what the prob
Hi James,
Yep. I know the feeling. A lot of Jim Kitchen's games are that way.
Great little games to pass the time, but not so deep you will spend a
considerable amount of time playing them. That is why when I get the
time I'd like to convert a few of them to Python so those of us on

I believe Fast Scrolling is what Dark and I were referring to as far

it works pretty well.

Hi Shaun,
As far as I know there is no SAPI enabled Tads interpreters out there.
There is Wintads, Dos Tads, and an HTML Tads. That's all the Windows
versions I know of.
Cheers!

well I don't know what version I have I got it ages ago it works with sapi.
insidentally its why I have given up on tads.
wintads never worked right and dostads never displays even though I
use the 32 bit djgpp one.
Is there a sapi tads or something.
