That is what happened to many dos games. People simply stopped playing them
because it was too hard to run them. There is always emulation, but to mention
an example, running a game like shades of doom under wine is a no go, because
the game crashes when you open a door.

Hi all.
A file system has nothing to do with 32 bit and 64 bit instruction sets. The
available addressable bytes actualy only hold up to 2^32 bytes in a 32 bit
machines ram. A file system does not usually have this limitation, unles it is
fat32. Also when playing a big file, only a small section
I think there is too much cconverting back and forth. When debugging you can
convert the angle before displaying, but besides that there is no need to have
angles in degrees. The developer never really has to work with the radians.

Yes, but the actual value doesnt matter as long as you stick to using one or
the other method. Under normal surcomstances it wont be shown anyway and only
the angles that are displayed need to be converted.

A good call. C++ would probably be the stablest if you know it well, but it wil
take the most time to get something done. Python or c sharp may be a better
call. I am not a big fan of basic type languages, but many games were created
