on the demo track, i have beaten art on all but racer pro.
when i start a new race, it doesn't give my last times at the beginning of
the race, it just says 6 minutes and 15 to complete the coarse.

a few of us had the problem with our sapi speech going wrong in the main
control panel.
since your games are sapi based this could be the problem.
