This is incorrect. JFW 8.0 does work with Vista. I don't know how much
is accessible and how much isn't, but it does work

If you get the new Jaws 8.0.11 patch Jaws 8.0 will operate fine with Vista.
However, note, you must absolutely have 8.0.11 and later to get access
to Vista.
So if you went out and got Vista tomorrow and downloaded Jaws 8.0.11 put
it on a cd, and installed it you would be good to

that is false. Jaws 8.0.11 released very recently supports Vista.
Be sure to download the version that specifically says it is compatible
with 2003 and Vista.
The first release of 8.0 will not work with Vista, but 8.0.11 will. For
the record 8.0.11 is a a free upgrade for Jaws 8.0
