There's tintin++, created by the player tux.
I don't remember install instructions off the top of my head, though.

I know that the player Goroth maintains a tintin setup for linux
machines that I believe even downloads and plays MSP audio. It might
require more advanced setup than most people prefer, but you can take
a look at the links near the bottom of

I use muddle both on linux and osx terminal mode, it works well in both
environments. I'm sure there's other ones that work on linux (if you have orca
talking, which I don't) but I don't know them.

Hi Edgar,
I'm afraid to say you are out of luck. I've tried several mud clients
for Linux and few of them are accessible or as feature rich as you
will find for Windows. The best and most accessible way to play muds
on Linux is via the stock telnet client. While it is accessible it

environment. Well, time to see if I could put something together to
satisfy my desires. That's why I love Linux so much; Arch in
particular. I will look into TinTin++.

sound pack.
Thank you.

Hello,
There is a client called TinTin++ that is fairly good. A member of the
Vinux list did make some scripts for it to play Alter Aeon. It has a
sound pack like the Mush client one. The persons name was Storm
Dragon. I am not sure of the link but you can probably find it doing a
google search.
Hi Edgar,
Yeah, try TinTin. I forgot to mention that in my prior e-mail, but I
think that may actually meet your needs. I myself have never had need
for sounds etc so haven't used TinTin much, but it is probably the
closest mud client out there for Linux gamers looking for an
experience similar
