Hi Charles,
I think what Dark and I was getting at is sometimes when you play a game
for a very long time you grow tired of it. The idea of a long demo time
allows you to grow tired of it before you buy it. Especially, if the
game is ok, but not a great game.

Good Grief!
i can think of a couple of games, which I certainly wouldn't have bought
if
there'd been a three month demo.

I would give 30 days, but I think I'm generous. These 1 to 3-day demos
don't give enough time to get to know the game in order to decide whether

I personally feel that 30 days is too much. 15 days seems a lot more
reasonable, but that is just me.

Hi,
I dont like timed trials either. The trial, for example, for
JudgmentDay is perfect. i can put it on my system and come back to it
next year (just as an example), and the demo would function just fine!
I think all games should be like that, even a week
Hi John,
I think seven to fourteen days is a pretty good time frame for a demo.
If you make it too short like three days it doesn't give someone enough
time to learn and evaluate the product. If you Make it more than
fourteen days your customers may grow board with the game soon, and
decide

Not too short, because most people don't have time to fully try out a game
in a day or three, you know? And what do you have to lose in extending the
trial time? Personally I don't like time trials, but that's just me.

you know I'd like a 15day tryle with full functions in the tryle. then
it stops working. i find this good because the games from
gamesfortheblind.com have that, a 15day full demo, then boom, it
expires and it says, this game has expired, do b;lablabla to get it
registered and then u just register
