well okay I'm having another look, and things aren't as bad as I thought.

Ok you can buy all your res from sol itself. Think of it as a central hub.
There are no real storehouses.
If you are looking to join a corp look up dragonfly I think his name is
spelled, he belongs to sss which is the same corp I belong too

I think I actually Agree. Astro Galaxy has the one ship, (though you can buy
more ships if you want), and must manage it in detail, installing modules
like cargo bays, mining gear, guns, marines, ftl drives and such. A lot of
the game involves managing your ship and it's personell,
