i just uploaded a new ganglia snapshot to
http://matt-massie.com/ganglia/
i've tested it on linux and solaris and it seems to work as it should
ymmv.
i removed the zio.[c,h] files altogether from the distribution and
updated the gzio.[c,h] file to handle compression level 0 the way we
want it to

it's important to note that SourceForge CVS services have changed. you
should be using the following
export CVS_RSH=ssh
export CVSROOT=":ext:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/ganglia"
of course, change "massie" to your sourceforge account name. before,
the CVSROOT was ganglia.cvs.sourceforge.net . si

i thought i had the fix for that in CVS. the problem is that the gzio
code expresses the libz headers and footers regardless of the
compression level. i have a workaround (my new gzio.c and zio.c).

Hi,
I think this has been reported before - the uncompreses XML stream
seems to have binary junk (about 2-5 bytes ??) at the beginning and the
end.
2.6.0 from CVS under a 2.6.6 kernel.

Hi,
today I tried to build from the CVS tree. So I followed the
README.CVSusers file and tried "./bootstrap". Results are not really
encouraging :-( All versions of required tools (automake, autoconf,
libtool) are higher than stated in the file.
It seems that the problem start with the fact tha
