I have autoheader 2.59 installed via Fink in /sw/bin in my $PATH. I don't
immediately see what the problem is. That step shouldn't even be necessary,
should it?

ually I've thought about it and it makes sense to me: the
samples aren't taken simultaneously, so it's not surprising that they don't
add up. Wouldn't it be better to have one routine get called for all the
cpu samples?

it inline. I hope attaching is OK.
I've created a patch against 2.5.7 that adds several metrics for
Darwin. This isn't tested very much and it seems as though the
total of the CPU values is more than 100%, but in general this
should be OK.
