How about "Games People Play" by Joe South. I'm thinking it was popular around
1968.
I am pretty sure it was in the fall of 1968 when I was in 9th grade. I
remember dancing to the song at a post football game dance, and I know who I
was dancing with. Weird how just thinking about one song
