there isn't a cure for crypto, but there are treatments to help. but can
anyone actually describe the treatments for crypto and whether the treatments
are helpful and worth it? I've heard about them, but have fortunately never
had to deal with it.

Sounds like coccidia to me, very common in dragons and gex.
It can be treated, but takes work and exceptional hygiene.
I've treated many imports, most have tested negative even years after,
but sometimes it is very stubborn and continually recurs. It doesn't
necessarily make the geckos sick, but if
