It looks like it is partially working.
Your net list has S2/R2-1 which is one hierarchical level down from
SW1-2.
Is the U?-? the symbol that has the lower level schematic?

Dear All,
Do any of the artistic people amongst the gEDA users fancy producing /
providing icons for gschem / gattrib / xgsch2pcb?
I've seen great work done by various people contributing icons for
various buttons etc.., so thought it might be nice to have icons for the
apps themselves.

One way is to start your board in PCB - set up the layers, size,
mounting holes, flags, etc - all the mechanical stuff. *Then* run
gsch2pcb and merge in the new stuff. That way, you start with the
layout *you* want, and not the default board gsch2pcb offers.
This also lets you have templates fo

Sorry for the late hit on this thread... I've been out of town for a week.
I need a how-to. I've al
Been experimenting with hierarchical design with gschem. When I generate
the netlist using gsch2pcb I get a U?-? on every net that goes to one
of the io objects.
As per the wiki (I think), I've used an in-1.sym in the sub schematics
where they get input from the top level schematic, and an out-1.
Go for it!
