This looks like an interesting project.
My concern is that the donation comes from https://www.yunion.cn which has a
similar name to the podling and that might cause trademark confusion.

Hi,
+1 (binding) because of DISCLAIMER-WIP
I checked:
- incubating in name
- signature and hash s fine
- WIP disclaimer exists
- no unexpected binary files
- all source files have ASF headers
- can compile from source
There some issues:
- Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 content

HI,
It looks like at least one of those dependancies are Category X [1]

Hi IPMC,
The Apache Tika PMC has VOTE'd [0] to accept the donation of "tika-helm"

Please VOTE to accept this contribution.
This is a lazy consensus majority vote, per the IP clearance process [2],

I assume Baidu are willing to hand the trademark over to the ASF?
To avoid confusion it would be best if Baidu correctly uses the name as if it

This is because part of the code is still in the experimental stage or has not
been fully verified. Usually we will organize and submit it to the Apache code

Hi,

But that not the original source is it, as it is not ASF licensed. If you did
take ASF code from Kudu then that shovel bee listed in your NOTICE file.

Hi,
I think there are still issues with this both from a trademark point of view
and from a release policy point of view. The docker file seems to be getting
the latests version of teh code not the last released version. [1]

Hi Juan,
Thanks for the help. I just added you to the mentor list.
As a mentor we don't need to pay a lot of attention to the code level stuff.
We just need to pass our knowledge of the License compliance and
community building experience to the podlings.

It's a good incubating project. I talked to Jian a few weeks ago,
currently this project has a 600 users group.
They want to come to Apache to build a more healthy community.
As the Champion of this project, I'm calling for help. Please ping me
if you like to be the mentor of YunionCloud.
Thanks,
Hi,
Same with JB, I am interested in mentoring but not familiar with golang.
Just gave a look at its GitHub, the issue translation and community discussion
need more in the future,
But its community begins to take shape.
Hi JB,
Thanks for the offering, I just added you into the mentor list.

Hi,
I notice the project installation instructions e.g. [1] refer to this page [2].
That page needs a little work, IMO it should not mention Baidu as the owner for

Hi,
-1 (binding) due to LICENSE and NOTICE issues, possible GPL dependancy issues,
and possible font licensing issues. There might be an explanation for all of
these, if so I’ll consider changing my vote.
I checked:

- checksums are fine
- LICENSE seems OK but it’s not

Hi, Xun Liu,
Many thanks for your comments.
1. We will merge docs repo into incubator-yunioncloud. Other repos are
relatively independent. We'd like to keep them separated so as to make
CI/CD jobs easier.
2. Agree with the name changes.
Many thanks

Hi
Can we deal with the two matters separately? Let's finish the release of
this version first, and we will continue to resolve the trademark issue. Is
this acceptable?
