In my indexer.conf I did not specify any particular char set to look for. When I
looked in my result set i find that latin (iso-8859-1) as well as chinese (gb2312) and
thai (cp874) web pages have also been indexed and put into the same

I would also like to ask why the indexer only recognised the char sets and did not
attempt to recognise the language as well?
DO I need a special flag in indexer.conf to recognise the language as well as the

I'm using directories to limit search results but I can't seem to get
multiple directories to work correctly. I'm using a php front end.
If I have query that is
