Hi all. I've got a machine which seems to be working fine except I can't get it to get an IP address via DHCP. I'm using dhcpcd. If I configure the NIC manually, it works fine. The rub is that I need it to get it's address via dhcp because I'm going to install the hard drive in my dad's mach

Hi again, Well, I just finished installing Gentoo on an older machine. I go to reboot as the final step and discover that the drive had Quantum's Dynamic Drive Overlay installed and that grub didn't overwrite it. So, is there a way to remove the overlay without destroying my Gentoo install? M
