Hi all, I have my HD divided for Gentoo GNU/Linux and Windows but now it's time to take windows out of it giving all space to Gentoo. How can I erase the windows partition and resize the Gentoo Partition? I know fdisk is able to erase partitions but how about resizing them? How can I do that? Bes

Hi all, Thanks for your replies. I've already tested memory and everything is fine. I also tested some other stuff in my linux like wget that doesn't seg fault and other programs don't seg fault also. I think something got corrupted and I don't think it is hardware. How can I overcome this? Best

Hi, Yes, the system has been working just fine but somehow su seg faulted so I restarted and after restart my system was completely corrupted (at least mount and su) and I haven't tried others. I have a new ASUS motherboard that's working just fine in windows so it is not the problem. I don't thin

Hi all, I think I'm missing something simple but I don't know what it is. I have configured in rc.conf to start gdm along with gnome but it is not starting gdm when I reboot. It goes to the terminal prompt where it asks for username and password. What am I missing? Best regards, Paulo Matos --
