nvidia drivers, and maybe fbcon. I repeate, /NOT/ a issue pty issue. The
console does not use ptys.
Are you using framebuffer? Try disabling it, or switching to vesa if you
use riva.
I've tried tu use both framebuffers and it didn't work.
