[gentoo-user] POP question

I heard of or read about an app that tricks the pop customer into thinking they are checking their mail as often as they like, but only really allows one check per an allotted time. Am I remembering correctly or is this just wishful thinking. -- Bobby R. Cox Linux Systems Administrator

Only thing I have found so far is.. http://www.icewalkers.com/Linux/Software/519290/poplimitd.html http://sourceforge.net/projects/poplimitd/ It will send out a nice form mail to the customer telling them to stop checking mail so often. In the future it will block IP addys as well. Although
