[gentoo-user] amixer commands from local.start

I have the following commands in /etc/conf.d/local.start /usr/bin/amixer set Master 35 unmute /usr/bin/amixer set PCM 35 unmute No errors, but ineffective (sound is still muted) If I subsequently stop and start /etc/init.d/local then sound works again. Any suggestions? -- Collins Richey - De
