I have a similar error, see my posting sys-libs/glibc-2.3.4 b0rkage with segmentation fault, March 24, 2005 12:00:57 pm GMT. I originally didn't notice the similarity with LostSon's problem, because his postings display funny on my Mac for some reason, but I consistently get a segmentation
