If you are using modules .. modprobe natsemi else compile it into the kernel and reboot edit /etc/conf.d/net .. change the settings to reflect your setup execute: /etc/init.d/net.eth0 start if all goes well .. add net.eth0 to the default runlevel : execute: rc-update add net.eth0 default
