Hello, i'm Alex. I decided to take the plunge and install Gentoo PPC on my old G4, replacing a thoroughly bloated ubuntu. I chose a manual install, and kernel build, and everything seemed to go ok, until it came to sound. As those who are much smarter than i am in linux PPC matters will know,

Not sure if this should be here, or in some sort of Pro-overlay list, but here goes: Could the pro-overlay team consider adding Livemix to the suite of pro-audio programmes? It's a highly useful mixer, but i've been stumped at trying to get it stable from source, and working within Gentoo.
