[gentoo-user] Masked GCC question.

Hello, I am currently using GCC 3.3.5-20050130, but I would like to give GCC 3.4.3.20050110-r2 a try, it is currently masked by keyword "~x86". Is it enough to add gcc to the /etc/portage/package.keywords file and then emerge it? Is there a Gentoo-related guide to this somewhere? Thanks in adv
