[gentoo-user] time for an emerge -e world?

I was having trouble with my standard update world emerge on one of my machines. I can't download because I don't have libssl.so.0.9.8. The exact error msg is wget: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I seem to have
