I'm experiencing a similar issue, however I can access the demo pages, but
when I use our own workspace it appears to time out.
If I edit the request and remove the Workspace namespace from
xsi:schemaLocation, but leave xmlns:feature in place, then the request
succeeds.

I’ve tried to use the new LDAP authentication feature to connect
Geoserver to our active directory based LDAP server as described in
[1]. After some trial and error, I successfully tested the connection
with the “Test Connection” button and following settings:
ServerURL: ldap://server:po
