Hi Aaron - with netCDF files I’ve used a postGIS store to index the data and then create an imagemosaic store. I’ve been meaning to test a very large mosaic - which needs some care to build [1]. My process is described after Daniele’s comments - it works fine for a few hundred tiles but not

Hello All, I am finally looking at upgrading our GS from 2.5.5 to 2.11. In the past I have always backed-up the geo_dir, dropped the .war file into Tomcat, and restarted the service. Is there anything more to it than that? Any issues I should be aware of? Thanks, Steve -- Stephen

I'm having problems reprojecting an ImageMosaic layer from EPSG:6343 to EPSG:4326. I am using the 2.11.0 war on Ubuntu 16.04 / Tomcat8. In ArcMap when I reproject the source image with a transformation dx=0.995600 dy=-1.901300 dz=-0.521500 rx=0.025915 ry=0.009426, s=0.000620, I get a correct

As long as the tiles have geographic metadata (world file, geotiff, etc) then ImageMosaic will automatically index them with a shapefile. You just point the new store to the directory containing all of the tiles when creating it. Jason Newmoyer Newmoyer Geospatial Solutions 843.606.0424

Hi, I’m running it now but with 70% compression to get closer to comparable files; it is looking good so far. I suspect my ECW files have heavy compression on the original data which I suspect was probably huge tiffs anyway so the comparison here may be a little off. Basically, I take your

Hi, That’s interesting, well we are using 2.9.3 and it definitely recreated the shapefiles when the server loaded. I’ll leave it to the experts to decide if that is expected or wanted behaviour but it seems to be possible to replicate on that version as far as I can tell. Perhaps just try it

Hi, I didn’t create the ECW files so you may well be right. It is odd though as they draw fine when you request them in British National Grid; they only shift when you reproject them. I did try to add TMOSGB as a user-projection as I thought that might help. It now can recognise the
