This means that your feature doesn't have a default geometry, which is strange
since the example feature you show contains a geometry.
I would then try to set the geometry using a XPath expression like in the
documentation example or fix the geometry mapping in app-sch
Sadly, I get the same error

If you need JAI your options on windows are as you say limited to the 32 bit
JVM. If you want to make more memory available to the JVM then you will
require the 64bit version.
Without knowing more I suspect you have two options, move to 64 bit linux and
JVM or cluster your geoserver instances
Is the image you attached actually made up of multiple tiles. If so each one
will its own label. To help prevent this you can use the tiled option.
http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/services/wms/vendor.html#tiled
However even this can give duplicates, especially when your roads are made
placed at the
same geometry, one line simply covers the second, while they should be parallel.

As well as adding a gridset for 512x512 images you also need to add a DPI
parmamter on the gridset, thid is what I use:
FORMAT_OPTIONS
dpi:90
dpi:90
dpi:180
Note, I also found I had to use EPSG:3857 instead of 900
