Hey Justin,
Any chance you could add the branch this is for in the subject? I'm sure
I could memorize which build each buildbot is traking but I'd rather not
and the info would be useful in the archives.

I'm trying to release the first RC for the 2.3.x branch. My code base

Hey all,
SVN is becoming a problem for me: I can't afford to wait an hour every
time I need to commit to the repository, especially not if I want to do
three commits in succession. I've gathered that the current repository
has issues of size possibly due to earlier commits of very large RS
images.
Hey all,
Here's an update at my attempt to release. I'm not sure what got through
to the list so I may be a little redundant.
The short news is: success.
Earlier this week I spent a night trying a test release of 2.3.0, mostly
to learn and partly to see where we blocked. The good news is that I
Hey all,
So I spend the day on this. Everything builds. Javadocs build but exit
with error status. The javadocs are therefore incomplete and we can
blame our javadocs that are a mess, the maven javadoc plugin which may
be broken, and the geoapi.sf site which was down.
There are four files at:

FYI, oid is incremented globally across the database any time
*anything* happens, so wrapping 2billion is not *that* rare for a
database with reasonably activity levels and longevity.
Also, since oid is deprecated in the PgSQL 8+ series, I hope it is a
third-or-fourth option in the quest for
Hi all,
the geoserver project would like to enjoy some of the
fixes contained in the 2.2.x branch in order to release
Geoserver 1.4.0rc1 on October16.
Since we need at least a day to perform cite tests against
the release, would it be possible to release gt2 2.2.1 on October 12?

Hi,
if we want geos-175 to be fixed, we'll need to upgrade our dependencies
to geotools 2.2.1, the bug is really in geotools.

Hi, I have tried to put together a steering document for the geotools

respect to OSGeo involvement has been to seek other sources of funding
for some of the geotools grunt work (like getting the releases out or
