Ciao Michael,
I have spent some time meesing up the WritableGridCoverage2D class you
have put together, I am attaching a small patch for trunk.
Here is some sparse thoughts on it:
- Think about how to avoid creation of a large number of {...@link
DirectPosition2D} and {...@link GridCoordinates2D
Nope this is something that is in the planning stage; welcome to planning
please enjoy your stay :-)
So Michael I think we need a bit more information:
- what are the restrictions on publishing to the maven central or sonyatype?
- we can marshal our unsupported modules into different piles depend
Hi Simone,
I confess that it had fallen out the back of my head until I saw Ben's
reply to Jody about the problem of some unsupported modules not
meeting Maven Central criteria.
I guess the most useful thing to do is for me to draft a proposal.

I'm more than happy to do the sphinx editing rather than burden Martin
(or other contributors) from having to come to grips with it. I think
we'll get more help from folks that way :-)

Well, if you have something in mind, we could reach some consensus on
the ml and then factor out a proposal.
I would happy to help as I can to reduce the monster size of
unsupported modules.
Simone.

Hi Jody,
I'm currently working on "Complex features support for any attribute"
(http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-3065) issue. But while stepping thru the
code, found that there's no "any" element in the schema which I can work on.
Thus would like to seek some help and find out from you ho

Hi all,
Just bumping this discussion from March about splitting up
unsupported, following Ben's comment about issues with these modules
and the idea of publishing GeoTools to Maven Central.

Hi Jody,
Thanks for this. I'm with you on making the docs more formally part
of the code base (ie. out of 'spike') and continuing to move things
into sphinx docs with live code links.
I guess the wiki is dead in terms of being a user-supported resource,
but it's very much alive in terms of there
