just like in GeoServer land, I'm trying to fix up Jira in preparation of
the beta release
tomorrow (so that we have changelogs for what we have done).
With the advent of github and pull requests people are forgetting

I am scheduled to release today (or at least this week). If we can move gt-grid
over to extension land I am happy to kick the geotools release out as soon as
you are ready.
