Peter: I think you need to be nominated (for general commit access) or request commit access (to work on a community project). I am happy to review your PR. The user list is mostl for folks using the library, similar to stack overflow. I tend to check it twice a month when I have time to answer q

Hi all, I am more often a contributor to GeoServer, but because that project depends on GeoTools, I might sometimes be able to contribute here, too. Would I need to fill out any other forms? If commit access isn't warranted, would someone please be kind enough to trigger the workflows on this PR
