Think of the gt-swing tests as your opportunity to relax :)

Interesting. Nevermind... i take it back, the module builds now :) I think
I see what is happening. The FEST stuff seems to take control over the
mouse and if you try to mess with it that is what seems to lead to
failures. If i build the module and don't try to do anything else with my
computer it
Those are different to the tests that were failing for Jody and, once
again, they are all passing for my system. It could be that the FEST /
Swing testing approach is not robust across platforms which, if true,
more or less sinks any hope of having enough test coverage to move
gt-swing out of unsup
Yeah, I also see failures in this module.
Results :
Failed tests:
dragPanMap(org.geotools.swing.tool.PanToolTest)
clickZoomAtCentreOfMap(org.geotools.swing.tool.ZoomOutToolTest)
labelTextIsFittedProperly(org.geotools.swing.dialog.DialogUtilsTest)
Tests in error:
filterByCode(org.geotools
I'm unable to reproduce this. Using latest trunk code, all tests pass
on my system (osx 10.6.8, Java 1.6.0_29) including the JTextReporter
tests that you cite as failing.
Are the tests failing for anyone else ?

Sorry Jody - also meant to say that those tests don't expect user
input. They simulate keyboard and mouse input themselves.

Yes - lots of things should pop up. The tests are exercising the swing
components using FEST.
I haven't seen those test failures on my mac (osx 10.6) but haven't
run them for a while. I'll check it later today.

Mac: It could be the test expected some interaction or something … I did see
error report text pop-ups on screen (but I saw lots of things pop-up on
screen).

With H2DataStore working again (thanks Ben!) I was able to make it a bit further
Next up with have gt-swing module:
